Vintage Collectible 1964 Miss Barbie and Swirl Ponytail Barbie® Dolls and Accessories
In 1964, Swirl Ponytail Barbie and Miss Barbie were introduced. Swirl Ponytail Barbie's bangs were replaced with a long swirl of hair that swept to the side over one eye. Miss Barbie was the first Barbie with bendable legs and eyes that opened and closed. Barbie got a new sister - Skipper, and her bestfriend Midge got a new boyfriend - Alan.
